The start page of the process portal offers the user graphical navigation in the form of a house. By clicking on its parts, you get into the depth of the content. If you prefer the full text search in the navigation column on the left, you will quickly reach your destination this way. At Döhler, great value is placed on a well-thought-out presentation in order to constantly improve navigation and transparency of content.
The Döhler “DOS” process model actually became the company's “operating system.” All information about structures, processes, etc. is not only stored here, but is also accessible via various channels. With just a few clicks, you can access the details you're looking for.
Since you can navigate from the upper process level “process map” down to the individual tasks and choose between the different representations (process diagram, process profile, SIPOC, etc.), the processes can be analyzed and examined for interactions without much effort.
Everything is very easy to use and can be controlled through rights management
Employees are automatically logged on to the Aeneis BPM portal via single sign-on. You receive important cross-company information, such as a process map, organizational chart, documents, instructions and search functions for all objects. In addition, however, every person involved in the process can also view specific, personalized information.
The DOS portal provides employees with an additional, personalized view of the specific processes and documents at their own location. The focus is on information that is relevant to your very specific area. This enables employees to search very precisely and quickly for sector-specific documents that are required in their daily work. Responsibilities in division-specific process and organizational structure can also be viewed in this personalized view.
Through two additional functions of the Aeneis BPM portal, SmartEdit and SmartModel, employees of the Döhler Group were also actively involved in designing their work processes. This is because it allows them to easily and intuitively edit the content via a browser even without an Aeneis client. There is no training cost for this. The authorizations for this can be set via fine-grained rights management.
Employees can now make suggestions for detailed descriptions of their work processes directly in the BPM portal. The adjustments are made by process owners and updated without delay.
