Tool Masters 2025 — The Battle of BPM Software!
Innovation, performance and a well-deserved victory for all winners
The Tool Masters 2025 offered a unique opportunity for anyone interested in business process management (BPM) software tools. Seven leading providers of BPM software faced a direct comparison — a fair, transparent competition that offered valuable insights for both participants and viewers. This event was also a success for intellior: Our BPM & GRC software Aeneis was voted the winner in the ”Process monitoring” category by the participants. We would like to express our sincere thanks for the nomination and for the excellent organization by the Society for Process Management (Gesellschaft für Prozessmanagement). For those who were unable to attend, we have linked our video presentation here:

An exciting competition with valuable insights
For intellior, participating in Tool Masters 2025 was a resounding success, and not only because of our victory in the ”Process monitoring“ category. It was just as exciting to get to know the approaches and innovations of the other providers. The open exchange showed how diverse the BPM landscape is and what potential exists for the future.
Our Aeneis software was particularly convincing due to its comprehensive monitoring functionality — a decisive factor for companies that want to monitor and optimize their processes efficiently. The positive feedback from participants confirms our focus on a powerful, user-friendly BPM solution.
Winner in the “Process Monitoring” category — A big thanks to everyone involved!
We are proud that Aeneis was able to convince the participants and was honored the best solution in the area Process monitoring. A big thank you to everyone who has placed their trust in us. We would also like to thank the Society for Process Management (Gesellschaft für Prozessmanagement) for the excellent organization of this inspiring competition.

- automated task management, which reliably plans, delegates, and monitors testing and control activities
- interactive dashboards that link risks, measures, audits, or GDPR controls with specific processes
- a notification system, which automatically notifies you of changes via push notifications in the portal or by email
- technical monitoring, which monitors thresholds and warns of discrepancies
- interactive network diagrams, which make connections visible in everyday processes.
The vision of Aeneis: Monitoring should not only provide information, but also provide orientation, make connections visible and empower people to make the right decisions.
